Dubbed “ita-psp”, the psp is the latest in a long line of ita-things. For those of you that have never heard of the term before, “ita” comes from “itai”, the Japanese word for literally “it hurts!” – but commonly used when you see something so embarassing, it hurts to look at it. Like, if you see an old fat dude cosplaying…
Somehow the “itai” aspect so called ita-psp and ita-sha has been utterly lost nowadays, similar to the way westerners think otaku is a cool term, Japanese otaku have taken the ita- preface to be a term of endearment. Poor bastards, someone should put them out of their misery.
