Art? Sure, whatever. This is technically defined as グロ (guro) which is short for “grotesque”, and generally involves hacked off limbs and blood and stitches and sometimes even cuddly bears. So that makes it art, see?
Remember we did a thing a while back about guro going mainstream with a photo book called “damaged dolls”? This is much worse, but less real version of that. The image on the left is the tamest of all, since you all know I’m very careful about the kind of images I post on this blog. Ahem.
