Fucked Up Japan

The problem with maid cafes, I’ve always considered, is that their whole business model is based on cafes, and I have just about zero desire to go to a cafe and pay for overpriced coffee and cakes when the local supermarket has everything I need and more. The only people who go to cafes are those who want to be *seen* in a cafe. Whatever. The point is, maid cafes don’t appeal to me.

But a maid casino! Hell yeah! At the new Akiba Guild maid casino in Akihabara, you can only trade chips for drinks, but still. Perhaps soon we will see underground maid casinos run by the yakuza where you can exchange chips for sexual services…
