New on the japanese photobook fetish scene is this “Kega Doru”, which literally means “Injured Girls”. Featuring idols all banged-up and bandaged, this is probably related to the “guro” fetish subculture. Guro-manga generally involves girls being torn apart limb from limb - the word “guro” is a contraction of English “grotesque”. Since you can’t legally sell pictures of chopped up girls, I guess the next best thing for “guro” fetishists who are sick of cartoons is this kind of stuff. Quite curious indeed. As geeks, we love anime girls. We love real girls too. We especially love it when real girls cosplay around as anime girls. Some might even say we love anime girls a little more than real girls, but thats forgivable.

This however isn’t….

Take one cliched pretty anime girl face, and put it onto a real girls body. Everything seems to say that logically this is the next evolutionary step for female-kind and should by all accounts be the height of cuteness and beauty. Sadly, it’s just fucking gross.

Its just too fucking creepy, just looking at the pictures makes me want scream like a j-girl and run back to civilisation.

For just 10,000 yen ($100, ~40 quid?) you can dress them up in any costume you like (even one you bring yourself for a little extra) and have a 1 hour private photoshoot. I guess the only real good thing about this is that now ugly j-girls (yes, they do exist) can make a career of modelling too.

Not content with hundreds of junior (and elementary, and pre-school) idol DVDs on the market, the powers that be have decided to release the loli’s onto Sky Perfect TV. Featuring girls from 12-15 years old in swimsuits and no doubt school uniforms, the “gravure no bishoujo” (beautiful young gravure girls) show will be airing next month on the famous Mondo 21 idol-porn channels. The Japanese Ministry of Defense has released a self-promotional manga based around a cute loli-character and a random teddy bear. From the Mainichi WaiWai:

In the “Manga de Yomu Boeisho Hakusho (Defense Ministry White Papers in Manga)” series printed in 2005, a little girl wearing “Lolita” fashions and an apron is involved in exchanges — sometimes violently — with a hawkish stuffed teddy bear as they rumble over the way Japan should defend itself.

If you ask me though, he bears a striking resemblance to Pedo-Bear. Could this be proof that the Japanese love of loli goes as high as central government? Quite possibly…
