SNK to release child molesting game for DS, kind of…

Officially titled “Doki doki majo saiban” - or “Exciting Witch Hunt”, the game was announced in a recent conference from well known developer SNK. You don’t actually touch up schoolgirls like some pervert - you have a purpose! Instead you “test” the girls by prodding and poking them and pulling down panties (unconfirmed) etc, in order to determine whether or not they are indeed witches. More a fan of burning at the stake myself.
Of course, this kind of hentai game is not at all unusual here in our little freakshow of the world that is Japan, but it’s the unique use of the DS stylus feature that intrigues me, and possibly the fact that the Nintendo DS cashcrop has always had such a childish image around it. Is this what Nintendo meant when they announced they will be “growing up their image”?

Oh, and the guy over a DSFanboy has made a valiant attempt to defend this game as nothing to do with child molesting. Indeed, there have been false screenshots showing the stylus used to touch up girl in the panty area, but he seems to think this genre of game is normal here, and complains about us metaphorically fisting our western social values on a different culture. News - most *normal* people in Japan would consider this to be a, how shall we say , *fucked up game* for socially inept and *fucked up* otaku. It is far from normal.
